Sebastien Vakerics is the lead artist and designer for Alchemic Cutie. He is responsible for making sure things look nice. When Sebastien isn’t working on art or design, he pesters Tom with new ideas to implement in the game. He currently lives in the south-eastern United States.
Sebastien’s interest in video games started with his first game console, the Nintendo, in the early 1990s. His interest in playing video games turned into an interest in creating them as he transitioned to later consoles. He created pages of Kirby designs, Super Mario World maps, and journals filled with mod ideas. In high school, he learned enough Actionscript to create simple games such as the Zombie Survival Quiz.
Sebastien’s first published game, Disorder, grew from a collaboration of friends during college. His work as the lead artist on Disorder expanded his portfolio as a games artist, allowing him to work (mostly) full time as a freelancer. He has been involved in many projects including V.Next and Depth of Extinction.
Sebastien currently spends most of his time on freelance work or Alchemic Cutie. In his spare time, he plays video games or hikes with his dog, Paprika.
